I got a bit of a wake up call this week.  I usually do a pretty good job keeping up on my incoming survey invites… but this week I slacked off a bit.  I wasn’t watching my inbox very closely, and I was letting a day or two pass before checking up on my survey invites. 

And it cost me.

While online surveys are a great way to earn money, win prizes and give your feedback on products and services; it’s important that you always follow the rules of  the survey panels you join.  It seems whenever money gets involved, people start looking for ways to cheat the system.

But before we get started, we want everyone to have realistic expectations.  Are you going to get rich taking online surveys?  No!  That is a pretty crazy expectation, but a lot of people try to promote online survey taking in that way.  Anyone who says you can get rich by working 5 seconds a year is lying to you.

While paid online surveys won’t make you rich, you can earn yourself some extra cash by taking a couple surveys a week.  That is nice thing, and a realistic expectation.
